Aces buffer by Research Lab Fine Chem Industries is a high grade reagent. Also known by N-(2-Acetamido)-2-aminoethanesulfonic acid, this is a buffer used widely in molecular biology. With a pKa of 6.9, this is suitable as a buffering agent in biological and biochemical research. ACES is one of Good's buffers which was developed in the 1960s. The product is soluble in water, producing a colourless solution.
