Acetone alcohol by Research Lab Fine Chem Industries is high grade reagent. This solution is available as acetone along with alcohol. The reagent is available as a colourless liquid with a pungent, floral, cucumber like odour, which is miscible in water, benzene, diethyl ether, methanol, chloroform and even ethanol. Acetone is normally produced in the body, found in blood and also disposed of in the urine. It is produced directly or indirectly from propylene, in the cumene process. It is often used for thinning polyester resin, cleaning tools used with it, and for dissolving two-part epoxies and superglue before they harden. Acetone is also used to synthesize Bisphenol A, which is a component of major polymers such as polycarbonates, polyurethanes, and epoxy resins. In laboratory applications, it is used as a polar, aprotic solvent in a variety of organic reactions, such as SN2 reactions. Furthermore, acetone is commonly used for rinsing laboratory.
