alpha-Synuclein-Venus Fluorescent Stable H4 Cell Line (H4 V1S/SV2)

Description

This H4 neuroglioma cell line stably expresses fluorescent-protein complementation pairs of alpha-synuclein alpha-synuclein and venus synVen1/synVen2 under tetracycline regulatable expression tet-off . alpha-synuclein is implicated in Lewy body related disorders like Parkinsons, dementia, Lewy bodies, and multiple system atrophy. Therefore, this cell line is suitable for studies investigating the pathogenic role of alpha-synuclein in such diseases. Complementation of alpha-synuclein with venus allows for in vitro imaging to investigate protein misfolding and aggregation. Control cell line: Cat.
