Description
ALTS1C1 cells are initially murine anaplastic astrocytoma cells immortalized with pMT10D plasmid bearing origin-defective SV large T antigen LTA gene. The transformed cells were followed by serial subcutaneous and intracranial passages in C57BL/6J mouse. The LTA antigen could not be detected in ALTS1C1 cells by Western blot.
