Description

Ammonium Formate (Extra Pure) is an analytical-grade compound widely used in organic and catalytic chemistry. It appears as transparent crystalline material and is easy to handle and dissolve in laboratory workflows. The compound is commonly used for the removal of phenolic benzyl protecting groups when combined with microencapsulated palladium(0), especially under microwave irradiation. Its controlled pH range of 5.5–7.5 supports stable reaction conditions. This extra pure grade maintains low impurity levels. The residue on ignition is not more than 0.1% and the contents of chloride and sulphate are well controlled. The assay is not less than 97.0% which allows for uniform performance in synthesis and research applications.
