?-AmNS UTP trisodium is a fluorescent derivative of UTP and enables the detection of RNA polymerase activity. Incorporation of UMP in RNA results in the release of ?-AmNS-PPi, which has higher intrinsic fluorescence than ?-AmNS UTP. ?-AmNS UTP trisodium can be used for antibacterial and antituberculosis agents study.
