Antibacterial agent 254 Compound 2 is a dispersion sensor DspS activator that disperses Pseudomonas aeruginosa biofilms. Antibacterial agent 254 can dislodge 7-day P. aeruginosa biofilms at 50 ?M. Antibacterial agent 254 also enhances the effects of Ciprofloxacin HY-B0356 against P. aeruginosa and increases the expression of matrix-degrading enzyme genes pelA, pslG and eddA.
