Description
Antitrypanosomal agent 4 compound 19 is a potent and blood-brain barrier permeable antitrypanosomal agent. Antitrypanosomal agent 4 has good activity against Trypanosoma cruzi T. cruzi and Trypanosoma brucei brucei T. b. brucei with IC50s of 1.2 ?M and 70 nM, respectively. Antitrypanosomal agent 4 is a click chemistry reagent, it contains an Alkyne group and can undergo copper-catalyzed azide-alkyne cycloaddition CuAAc with molecules containing Azide groups.
