Antitumor agent-68 is a potent tubulin inhibitor. Antitumor agent-68 shows potent anticancer activity with IC50s of 3.6 and 3.8 ?M for HeLa and MCF-7 cells, respectively. Antitumor agent-68 exhibits good scavenging activity of ROS and DPPH radical in a dose-dependent manner. Antitumor agent-68 is a click chemistry reagent, it contains an Alkyne group and can undergo copper-catalyzed azide-alkyne cycloaddition CuAAc with molecules containing Azide groups.
