ATTO 614H

Description

ATTO 614H is a dye belonging to the class of rhodamines. Designed as a hydrophilic alternative to ATTO Rho14, the characteristic properties of the fluorophore include strong absorption and a very high fluorescence quantum yield. In addition to its very high thermal and photochemical stability, the dye shows very good pH stability in the pH range of 2 - 11. ATTO 614H is therefore particularly suitable for single molecule detection and for high-resolution microscopy SIM,A STED, etc. . The dye is very hydrophilic and the fluorescence efficiency is only slightly reduced after coupling to biomolecules, e.g.A proteins, even at higher degrees of labeling DOL . ATTO 614H is an anionic dye. After coupling to a substrate, the dye carries a net electrical charge of -2. Efficient excitation of fluorescence occurs in the 595 - 625 nm range.
