Azure II Eosin by Research Lab Fine Chem Industries is a high grade reagent. This is a reagent mixture of Azure B, methylene Blue, and eosin. The reagent is available as a dark olive green coloured powder which is soluble in water and sparingly soluble in ethanol. While it is stable under general conditions, it is incompatible with strong oxidising agents. For best performance, it is advised that this dye preparation be used before expiry. This reagent is used in various dye preparations in biological staining applications. It is used as a component for the staining of blood and bone marrow smears of human origin. It has also been used in the Richardsons stock solution for the staining of lysosomal glycogen. The Azure II complex is used for the staining of nuclei, goblet cells, striated muscle, endothelial cells, smooth muscle, cytoplasm, lipid droplets, red blood cells, glycogen, collagen, cartilage, mucus granules, elastin and leukocytes. This reagent is suitable for industrial synthesis of products and research applications.
