Basal Medium Eagle (BME)

Description

Basal Medium Eagle BME is a basal medium used for the growth of HeLa cells, mouse fibroblasts, and other human lines, such as WI-38 and MRC-5. Supplementation is required, most commonly with 10 % fetal bovine serum FBS for cell culture use, and requires a 5-10 % CO2 environment to maintain physiological pH.
