These oils contain approximately 1.3% essential oils, comprising of 45 % eucalyptol, 12 % other terpenes, 8 - 12 % terpinyl acetate, 3 4 % sesquiterpenes, 3 % methyleugenol. It additionally contains some - and -pinenes, phellandrene, linalool, geraniol, and terpineol, and lauric acid. The oil can be extracted via steam distillation procedure.
