Description

Benzyl isothiocyanate is used in a synthesis of 2-phenylpyrimidine-4-thiones from Benzoylacetonitrile. Benzyl isothiocyanate has been used in the preparation of S- N-benzylthiocarbamoyl -L-glutathione and S- N-benzylthiocarbamoyl -L-cysteine.
