BRCA1 L1780P Mutant Stable HCC1937 Cell Line

Description

This cell line stably expresses the breast cancer associated gene 1 BRCA1 L1780P BRCT domain using the triple-negative cell line, HCC1937. Exogenous BRCA1 was confirmed by Western blot and Sanger sequencing confirmed the successful introduction of mutuant-BRCA1 in the stable cell line. These cells show increased migration and invasion capacity, as well as increased sensitivity to olaparib and carboplatin, compared to wild-type BRCA1 cells. The cell lines are suitable for breast cancer research, understanding the role of BRCA1 and for the development of TNBC treatment.
