The c-Kit/V560D-expressing Ba/F3 cell line with GNNK- isoform has a substitution of the valine residue at position 560 to aspartic acid. The cells are resistant to Imatinib Gleevec , an inhibitor of the c-Kit juxtamembrane mutations.
