CBF1 Knockout DG75 Cell Line (SM261D11)

Description

Using homologous recombination, the centromere-binding protein 1 CBF1 has been inactivated in the human B-cell line, DG75.CBF1 inactivation was achieved via transfection of DG75 cells with linearized vector DNA. CBF1 expression was confirmed via Western blot analysis and absence of the protein was carried out via promoter reporter assays. These cells serve as an excellent model for research studying the CBF1-dependent and independent functions of the Epstein - Barr virus nuclear angtigen-2 EBNA-2 protein.
