Description

Crospovidone by Research Lab Fine Chem Industries is a high grade reagent. Also known as Polyvinylpyrrolidone, this is a polymer made from the monomer, N-vinylpyrrolidone. The reagent is available as a white powder which is soluble in water. It has a melting point of 150 to 180 C. While it is stable under general conditions, this reagent is incompatible with strong oxidizing agents. Crospovidone is used as an adhesive in glue stick and hot-melt adhesives, as a binder and complexation agent in agricultural applications, as a liquid-phase dispersion enhancing agent, as an emulsifier and disintegrant for solution polymerization. This reagent is suitable for industrial synthesis of products and research applications.
