Delavirdine U 90152 is a potent, highly specific and orally active non-nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitor NNRTI . Delavirdine selectively inhibits reverse transcriptase RT IC50=0.26 AZA14M over DNA polymerase AZA+/- IC50=440 AZA14M and polymerase AZA IC50 550 AZA14M. Delavirdine is an inhibitor of replication and can can be used for the study of AIDs.
