Dulbeccos Modified Eagles Medium DMEM is a proprietary media optimized for mammalian cell culture. DMEM is a modified version of Basal Medium Eagle BME . Dulbeccos Modified Eagles Medium DMEM contains four times the amino acid and vitamin concentrations. DMEM supports the primary culture of mouse and chicken cells, and a plethora of normal and transformed cell types. DMEM contains 4.5 g/L glucose, 485 mg/L L-glutamine and no sodium pyruvate.
