Description
Eicosatetraynoic acid ETYA is a nonspecific inhibitor of cyclooxygenase and lipoxygenase ID50=8 ?M and 4 ?M, respectively . Eicosatetraynoic acid ETYA activates PPAR? and PPAR? chimeras at 10 ?M. Eicosatetraynoic acid specifically interferes with the replication of the cowpox virus both in vivo and in vitro. Eicosatetraynoic acid is a click chemistry reagent, it contains an Alkyne group and can undergo copper-catalyzed azide-alkyne cycloaddition CuAAc with molecules containing Azide groups.
