Endogenous Peroxidase Blocker is designed to quench endogenous peroxidase activity in tissues or cells during immunohistochemistry (IHC), immunocytochemistry (ICC), in situ hybridization (ISH), and TSA-based multiplex immunofluorescence (mIHC). Endogenous peroxidase is widely distributed in certain cells and tissues—e.g., erythrocytes, kidney, and liver—where it can generate high background or false-positive signals.
