Description
Fusing a kinase domain to a homodimerization domain such as the PNT domain of ETV6 can result in activated kinase. The EPHB3 Stable Ba/F3 Cell Line expresses activated human EPHB3 tyrosine kinase that is linked to a GFP reporter GFP-ETV6-EPHB3 in MSCV-puro vector . Even though this cell line expresses activated tyrosine, it is non-transforming, meaning that the cells still require IL-3 to grow.
