Estramustine phosphate sodium depolymerises microtubules by binding to microtubule associated proteins MAPs and/or to tubulin. Estramustine phosphate sodium can interfere mitosis, trigger cell death and induce apoptosis, which can be used for the research of cancer like prostate cancer.
