Euparal by Research Lab Fine Chem Industries is a high grade reagent. This reagent is a mixture of camsal, sandrac, eucalyptol, and paraldehyde. The reagent is available as a slight yellow coloured liquid. For best performance, it is suggested that this reagent be used before expiry. While it is stable under general conditions, this reagent is incompatible with strong oxidizing agents. It is generally used in the mounting of entomological and histological specimens. It exhibits a low refractive index, and reducing properties which therefore prevents oxidation.
