Exonuclease III

Description

Exonuclease III is a 35 exonuclease that is specific for double-stranded DNA or DNA-RNA hybrids. It will degrade double-stranded DNA with a blunt end, a 5-overhang, or a nick, but it will not degrade DNA with a 3-overhang of at least 4 bases. Exonuclease III is supplied in 25 mM Tris-HCl pH 8.0 , 50 mM KCl, 0.5 mM DTT and 50 % glycerol. Cat. # 2170B contains 5 of Cat. # 2170A.
