Faustovirus Capping Enzyme S17 adds 7-methylguanylate cap structures Cap-0 to the 5 ends of uncapped RNA. Faustovirus Capping Enzyme 25 U/mul , 10X Capping Buffer 2, S-adenosylmethionine SAM , and GTP are included. Our products are to be used forResearch Use Only. Back Effect of temperature on capping efficiency of FCE and VCE.Capping reactions were performed using Faustovirus Capping Enzyme S17 FCE; Cat. # 2480 or Vaccinia Capping Enzyme VCE; Cat. # 2460 at various reaction temperatures. The capping efficiency % Cap-0 RNA was measured by LC-MS. FCE demonstrated increased capping efficiency over a broader temperature range than VCE. Back
