Herbacetin is an Ornithine decarboxylase ODC allosteric inhibitor, directly binds to Asp44, Asp243, and Glu384 on ODC. Ornithine decarboxylase ODC is a rate-limiting enzyme in the first step of polyamine biosynthesis.
