HSP90beta D294A Expressing Stable K-562 Cell Line (K562-HSP90beta D294A)

Description

Heat shock protein 90 HSP90 , an ATP-dependent molecular chaperone is required for cell growth, survival and other signal transductions. HSP90 is expressed in tumor cells at greater quantities than normal cells, therefore serving as a hallmark for cancer. HSP90AB1 WT and D294A mutant cDNA was transfected into human chronic myelogenous leukemia K-562 cells. Protein expression was confirmed through Western blot and PCR. This cell line is a useful model for HSP90 related investigations.
