The HT-29-Cl.27H cells were derived from a human with colorectal adenocarcinoma. This cell line is less tumorigenic than the original tumor cells. The HT-29-Cl.27H cells can be used for investigations of intestinal cell differentiation as cancer derivatives of normal intestinal crypt stem cells.
