Human GRASP55 & GRASP65 Stable Knockout HEK293 Cell Line

Description

This stable cell lines gfeatures a double knockout of Grasp55 and Grasp65 in HEK293 cells using CRISPR/Cas9 genome editing technology. Knockout was verified with immunofluorescence, Western blot, and genomic sequencing. Overall, the GRASP knockout cell panel is a useful tool to study the role of GRASP55 and GRASP65 proteins in other important cellular processes. GRASP55 or GRASP65 single-knockout showed partially impaired Golgi cisternal stacking, whereas double-knockout of both GRASP proteins disassembled the entire Golgi structure.
