CF010 is recombinant human BMP-13 expressed in E. coli, filtered through 0.22Amu membrane filter and lyophilized without any additives.BMP-13 plays important role in the growth and maintenance of articular cartilage. They bind to their cell surface receptors on mesenchymal stem cells and send signals to the cell nucleus which results in the synthesis of macromolecules involved in cartilage and bone formation and then the mesenchymal cell differentiates into chondrocytes or osteoblasts.
