Immortalized Goat KNDy Neuron Cells (GA28)

Description

Female Shiba goat foetal hypothalamic ARC tissues were immortalised with the infection of lentivirus containing the simian virus 40 large T-antigen gene to establish the KNDy neurone cell line GA28 . KNDy neurons are found in the hypothalamic arcuate nucleus ARC , in which they co-express kisspeptin, neurokinin B and dynorphin. The cells are essential for mammalian reproduction as key regulators of gonadotropin-releasing hormone GnRH secretion.
