Immortalized Human Fetal Liver Cells (cBAL111)

Description

Human fetal hematopoietic cells were immortalized by stable lentiviral LTRCMVR2 overexpression of human telomerase reverse transcriptase hTERT . Resulting cells were subcloned and continued to proliferate in culture to establish the Immortalized Human Fetal Liver Cells cBAL111 . The cells are positive for hepatic markers albumin, glutamin synthetase, cytokeratin 18, and for the cholangiocyte marker cytokeratin 19. qRT-PCR detected hTERT expression.
