Immortalized Lizard Embryonic Fibroblast Cell Line (ASEC-1)

Description

This immortalized lizard embryonic friboblast cell line is derived from primary fribroblast cells isolated from the torso with internal organs removed of a single stage 6 Anolis sagrei embryo. The primary cells were serially passaged until signs of cell growth ended passage 26 . After several days of continued culture, a small number of cell resumed proliferating, and an individual cell from this culture was isolated to generate the ASEC-1 cell line.
