Immortalized Monkey Hepatocytes - SV40 T+t are derived from Macaca fascicularis cynomolgus monkey liver tissue and have been immortalized by stable expression of the SV40 T and t antigens. This immortalization enables long-term proliferation while retaining key hepatocyte characteristics, including hepatic metabolism, enzyme activity, and functional marker expression. Due to the close genetic and physiological similarity of cynomolgus monkeys to humans, these cells provide a valuable in vitro model for drug development, toxicology, and liver biology research.
