Immortalized Mouse Neural Progenitor Cells iNPCs are immortalized from cells isolated from CD-1 mice, which were infected with non-replicating retrovirus carrying the loxP-flanked SV40 large T antigen. In vitro, the cells can be genetically manipulated for further research. Thus it is a reliable tool for research in mouse neural system biology and molecular basis of neural progenitor cell differentiation and development.
