Immortalized Mouse Sertoli Cells (ST38c)

Description

Previously immortalized sertoli cells- involved in androgen regulation during spermatogenesis- lose androgen receptor AR expression or androgen responsiveness; thus leaving them ill-suited for any further research regarding androgen regulation. The Immortalized Mouse Sertoli Cells ST38c eliminate this barrier with their continuous expression of endogenous AR. These cells are perfectly suited for investigating androgen receptor signaling in sertoli cell function in order to determine both molecular and cellular mechanisms. Androgen receptor mRNA was confirmed via RT-PCR while western blot confirmed AR protein expression.
