Immortalized Ovarian Surface Epithelial Cells (iMOSEC)

Description

The Immortalized Ovarian Surface Epithelial Cells iMOSEC is derived by co-expression of adenovirus E1A and dominant-negative p53 p53DD . In addition to its non-tumorigenicity, this cell line maintains its primary phenotype and expresses epithelial-specific markers such as E-cadherin, cytokeratin 8 and 18. This cell line is a useful model for studying ovary growth regulation. Western blot was used to confirm the presence of E1A and p53DD gene and tissue-specific markers.
