The primary cells were derived from mouse ear pinna tissue and immortalized with SV40. These cells may be used alongside Immortalized Rhett mouse fibroblast cell line with R255X mutation iETF-Mecp2-R255X, T0870 and/or Immortalized Rhett mouse fibroblast cell line with R294X mutation iETF-Mecp2-R294X, T0871 to study the effects of the mutations.
