Iscove's Modified Dulbecco's Medium IMDM with- L-Glutamine, without Alpha-Thioglycerol, without Beta-Mercaptoethanol, is a Dulbecco's modification and is considered a more complex and enriched media. IMDM is utilized for a variety of specialized cell types and also as the basis for some of the more unique serum-free media formulations. IMDM medium reportedly supports Murine B Lymphocytes, Haemopoietic tissues from Bone Marrow, B-cells stimulated with Lipopolysaccharide and also T-Lymphocytes along with a wide variety of Hybrid cells.
