The ISG15 Knockout HEK293T stable cell line is a CRISPR/Cas9-engineered human embryonic kidney cell line with a complete biallelic knockout of the ISG15 gene, which encodes the interferon-stimulated ubiquitin-like protein ISG15. This line is derived from the widely used HEK293T background and is ideal for studying the role of ISG15 in innate immunity, interferon signaling, protein ISGylation, and antiviral defense mechanisms. The knockout was achieved using targeted CRISPR/Cas9 gene editing, and the resulting clone was validated for complete loss of ISG15 expression at both the mRNA and protein levels.
