Isoastilbin is a dihydroflavonol glycoside compound in Rhizoma Smilacis glabrae and Astragalus membranaceus. Isoastilbin inhibits glucosyltransferase GTase with an IC50 value of 54.3 ?g/mL, and also inhibits tyrosinase activity.
