Description
Isodesmosined4 is an isotopically labelled analog of Isodesmosine I815050/I815051 , which is a lysine crosslinked derivative formed from the condensation of four of such amino acids. It is found in elastin and it has been utilized as a biomarker for an array of elastinrelated diseases in mature mammals. Isodesmosine is extremely hygroscopic and must be stored over a desiccant such as silica gel.
