The KU19-19/GEM/MMC cell line is a multidrug-resistant variant derived from the parental human bladder carcinoma line KU19-19, developed through sequential exposure to gemcitabine GEM and mitomycin C MMC . This cell line models acquired chemoresistance in urothelial carcinoma and is ideal for preclinical research into resistance mechanisms and alternative therapeutic strategies.
