The KU19-19/MMC/TXR cell line is a multidrug-resistant subline derived from the human bladder carcinoma parent line KU19-19. This variant has been developed through sequential exposure to mitomycin C MMC followed by paclitaxel TXR , resulting in a robust in vitro model for studying resistance mechanisms to DNA crosslinking agents and microtubule-targeting chemotherapeutics.
