Linear Hygromycin Marker

Description

Linear Hygromycin Marker is a short ds DNA fragment consisting of the hygromycin resistance gene regulated by the SV40 promoter and ending with the SV40 polyadenylation signal. The 2.1-kb marker is compatible with any expression vector including Tet System vectors for generating stable transfectants using CalPhos transfection reagent or a liposome-mediated transfection protocol. Back Back Cotransfection of a hygromycin or puromycin linear selection marker achieves a higher number of positive clones than using either a single response vector containing a selection marker, or cotransfecting with a circular selection marker.
