LM156 cells were derived from a male human with penile squamous cell carcinoma. The cell line is tuminorgic in mice and has strong invasive potential. The 146RCa cells are sensitive to cisplatin however they are resistant to anti-EGFR therapy and unresponsive to androgen. The LM156 cell line may be used for investigation of the underlying mechanism of action of the metastasis in penile cancer.
