Description
Metanil Yellow (Acid Yellow 36) from Research-Lab Fine Chem industries is an analytical grade reagent. It is azo class dye. It is used as a pH indicator in analytical chemistry and it changes color from red at pH1.2 to yellow at pH 2.3. It is widely used as a food adulterant in turmeric due to its bright yellow color.
