MP Alumina G-TLC neutral pH

Description

MP EcoChrom Alumina G-TLC is an amphoteric oxide. It contains 11 % gypsum. To prepare 5 plates 20x20cm with 250mum layers, about 35g MP EcoChrom Alumina G-TLC are mixed with approximately 40ml water to form a slurry. This slurry may be spread on the plates using a commercially available spreading device. An oxide of aluminum, occurring in nature as various minerals such as bauxite, corundum, etc. It is used as an adsorbent, desiccating agent, and catalyst, and in the manufacture of dental cements and refractories.
